GVTC is making improvements to our account management system. The new GoGVTC app and online account portal will be launched soon, and the GVTC Start app will be going away.

What changes can you expect when we launch the new system?

  • New account number: You'll use your new account number to register for the new system. We'll be sending you the information in the future on how to register.
  • Re-register for your online account: The upgrade requires all of our customers who have online accounts to register again. The new system greatly increases the amount of information you have access to with regard to your account.
  • Update your online payment options: Once you register for your online account, you will need to update your payment options.

What is the difference between the online account portal and the GoGVTC mobile app?

Both platforms are part of GVTC's new account management system for you. 
The online account portal has additional functionality that allows you to manage notifications, update your stored payment methods, and change your personal information. 

Both the web version and mobile app allow you to securely access your account information, view bills and payment history, make payments, and report outages. 

The free, secure mobile app will be available to download and install on mobile devices and tablets soon. Please note, the GoGVTC app will be replacing the GVTC Start app.

Is the mobile app secure?

Yes. All critical information is encrypted in every transaction run and no Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is stored on your phone or tablet. 

Mobile devices do offer you the ability to store your login information for apps installed on the device. If you choose to store your login information, any person who has access to your mobile device can access your account.
